When I started, I was only going to have 2 videos. So I broke the travelogue and interviews into two. But once I finished editing all the interviews I had a video that was more than 30 minutes, so I decided that the interviews would be in two videos. So at this point I’m up to 4 videos out of #BAMF2018.
If I were doing this right I would have put a big hitter at the start of this video, then sprinkled in some smaller players, then hit it with another big hitter about 3/4 through to keep people watching, then sprinkled in some smaller players. The problem with this is that, while the analytics and metrics tell one story, to me there are no small players. I don’t want to rank these people, because they’re all amazing, and I’m a fan of them all.
I kind of like that the only order these interviews are in is whatever order I ran into them. And that will continue with the next video as well.
At the time of writing, I haven’t started editing the last part yet, what was supposed to be the second video when this all started, so I have no idea if this series will end at par 4 or if it will continue to part 5 and beyond. But I think that’s illustrative of just how vast and overwhelming BAMF can be.
