Do not buy the Selpic Star A 3D Printer

Watch on Youtube

This printer has literally been sitting with it’s own failed prints on my shelf for a while now, and as soon as this video was over I pitched it straight in the garbage. I didn’t even want to strip it for parts or see if any part of it would be useful. I’m rethinking that now. I could probably do something with those cute little stepper motors. I better go dig it out.

This is the part where I tell you a little bit of the behind the scenes adventures, like where I had trouble with the video production, or I mention something I left out of my experience with the subject in the video. I mean, I guess there was that one moment my neighbor drove his motorcycle past and I had to re-record the line. But that’s about it.

No, the hardest thing about making this video was stopping working PrintABlok:Beasts. I am just so into it right now. Beasts are adding so much articulation to PrintABloks. Every one of them, even the snail, has parts that move, twist, pose, and turn. They’re all so satisfying to play with. The kickstarter has less than 2 weeks left, and I’m hoping it keeps raising money, because I just want to keep making these sets. If you haven’t already, go support the kickstarter today!

PS. Hey, EasyThreeD. Yes it’s me.
