Looking to the past and to the future

Vote here on the next 3DPProfessor Kickstarter

As this year comes to a close, it’s a time to look backwards, as well as keeping an eye on the future. 2019 was an amazing year, with improved video equipment, and trips to the Bay Area Maker Fair, Midwest RepRap festival, and East Coast RepRap festival. There’s been successful experimentation with new electronics skills. And all of that was made possible by your support, including the generous success of the Chibimal kickstarter in 2019.

Looking forward to 2020, I’m starting to prepare for the next round of fundraising with another 3D modeling kickstarter project. I’ve got a lot of great ideas as suggested by you, but I need your help narrowing it down to just one option. So, I’ve put together this survey so you can tell me what future kickstarter option you’d like to see:

  • ChibiRPG – Might as well double down. Cute customizeable adventurers, monsters, and even interlocking map tiles that connect together with a familiar interlocking brick.
  • Fantasy Minis – Let’s ditch the chibi and make some high detailed (or maybe low poly) minis of Adventurers, Creatures and Cryptids.
  • Modular Spaceships  – Parts that can be used to build ships that resemble Arwings or the Enterprise, Battlestars or Millennium Falcons. All of which will be compatible with a familiar interlocking brick.
  • Board Game Token Library – Do you play board games, but wish you could use your 3D printer to upgrade the generic blocks and chits for high quality 3D models that relate to your game? Let’s make that happen.
  • Functional Parts – Why make silly stuff when we can build a library of useful parts? A 3D printed hardware store!
