Fixing prints, attending fairs, and what’cha makin?

I have, at this time, 3 conventions that I am going to attend for sure:

  1. BYU 3D Printing Con, Orem Utah, Orem Library – March 9 from 1pm to 5
  2. Midwest RepRap Festival, Goshen Indiana – March 29-30
  3. Bay Area Maker Faire, San Franscico California – May 17-18

Now, as for what I’m going to do at each of these places, MRRF and BAMF in particular, I’m not sure. This is my first time at MRRF, so I don’t know if trying a thing is even a good idea. I certainly have ideas for what I want to do, but maybe I’ll just opt for a time lapse and a summary video at the end. But if I had the money… and crew… I think an interview booth, with couches and tables and a fern and a place people can come and chat about their projects, why their there, and whatever they want. But that’s a pipe dream and I’m not done with the last pipe dream yet. But if you have any more reasonable ideas, let me know.

There are otehr fairs I want to attend. I might be able to hit NOMCON this year, just as soon as I know when it’s happening. ERRF and NYMF are less likely unless I manage to wrangle a sponsor. But I’ve got my fingers crossed. I kinda like attending fairs and I look forward to attending more.

Do you know what happens when you remember to clip the microphone on you, but forget to plug it in? That’s right, nothing. The computer defaults to it’s built in speaker and the audio is corrupted. I attempted to cover it up with underlay music just as much as I possibly could. many apologies to the ears I offended. My recommendation is do *not* listen to this with headphones.
