One thing I didn’t mention in the video is my desire to have AOSEeed make their app available to people with non-AOSeed 3D printers. I think if they gave their app the ability to export STLs, in addition to sending them directly to their X-Maker 3D printers, they’d get 100x the users, which would translate to an increases of sales on their printers. But at this time that’s not available and if you want to use their app, you need to have their printer. And that’s a shame because their printers are mid (and very slow), but their app is amazing.
I’m honestly tempted to do a follow up video, showing off their app, and the amazing ways it enables you to make, just to get folks to demand they make it available.
I don’t know why, but production on this video fought me every step of the way. It took weeks to find the time to film it because family commitments were cutting into filming times. Then when filming my camera cut out after a while because I was talking for so long and I had to let it cool down. Editing went smoothly at least.
