The Wingman is, in my opinion the only project of it’s kind in the market right now. But, like I kind of said in the video, Haas and his team aren’t marketers. And, I feel they have a vision for this project that maybe doesn’t quite meet the needs of the community, but it could so easily. However, Haas might be right in not pursuing it. Like I’ve said in this video and before, people are the worst, and putting a buffer between bad customer requests and bad prints is no small task. But if it were possible, and we could actually distribute manufacturing, we’d truly be living in the future.
Either way, I hope by getting more eyes on this kickstarter we can make the world a better place.
For some reason this project is reminding me of Thangs. That’s another project that I feel isn’t quite meeting the needs of the community, and needs a few tweaks. I still go into it and it feels off, you know? However, Thangs is doing just fine, so maybe I’m the one with the broken vision for things.
As I was editing this weekends video, to be released on Saturday, my wife looked at me working remotely and noticed that in the video and on the thumbnail I misspelled “Recommendation”. But because I was working remotely she couldn’t tell me about it until I finished editing and uploading the video, writing the blog post. and making the thumbnail. So that’s what I’m going to be working on the rest of the day.
