Putting this model up for download was a after-editing decision. I’m hoping that people do love it and this project takes off because I’d love for this to be my next big kickstarter. I love making balloon animals, and I can really make a ton of them. When I was doing balloons and someone would ask what I could do I would rattle off this list:
“Well, I can make cats, dogs, teddy bears, lions, armadillos, and scorpions, Godzilla monsters, Spiderman, or just about any animal or cartoon character you can think of.” That usually kickstarts people’s imagination.
I’ve also thought a balloon twisting channel would be fun, but one where only my hands are visible on camera. Black clothes, black background, white gloves, totally anonymous but focused on the twisting. If people actually do make requests on this video, I may give one of these sorts of videos a try and see how they’re received.
Most of my time lately has been taken up preparing to promote the heck out of PrintABlok ahead of the next kickstarter. This has involved writing comic books and getting artists to finish them for me. Believe me, it’s related. So expect that soon!
