With this video’s description and thumbnail I wanted to play up the cost, but I want to be clear, this price is a steal. Almost literally. Almost every artist I worked with on fiverr was from Indonesia, meaning there’s a large population of talented and technologically savvy people without the overhead of… well, quite frankly living in America. So while I question my participation in a system that exploits people living in the 2nd world, if it weren’t for that system I’d either have to do it all myself or I’d be paying one person $100 per character (yes, I did find a locally sourced artist), and I’d have to just go with what they can do and wouldn’t have the luxury of shopping around.
In other words, I’m grateful for the interconnected world that we all live in.
