I’ve been doing my best to spread the word about the updates to PrintABloks on all platforms, but if you aren’t on the mailing list and didn’t see the blog post, here it is again:
You can now download free PrintABloks on Thangs, Printables, Thingiverse, MyMiniFactory, Cults, Creality Cloud and even Toybox. Basically there’s no excuse not to be printing PrintABloks right now.
And now that you might even win back the filament you would spend printing it, there’s no reason not to be printing them!
I acknowledge that this contest is only for people who can already 3D print. The 3D printer from Sliceworks was a last minute addition, and it would have been good to include something for those who don’t have a 3D printer. And maybe I can come up with something in the future. Jump on my discord and let me know what sort of contest you’d like to see for those who don’t have a 3D printer.
It’s funny how sometimes the smaller videos are the most troublesome. Did you notice the tie change in the middle? That was because after I finished recording the first half, my camera overheated. It wasn’t even that hot yet! But it refused to work and I had to give it a break. I returned later and decided to wear a different tie for that part. And then, of course, there was the waldo shirt shots added in the editing desk. Sometimes getting a video up means wrestling with the process.
