Behind the scenes, I played with using the NVidia RTX noise canceling… and that’s why my words are sometimes being clipped. Apparently according to the AI, my voice isn’t quite human enough sometimes. I have to play with the settings, but it did get rid of the air conditioner hissing in the background.
2020 has seen me adopting a lot of new technology into my videos, as well as spending more time in my editing. And the result has been videos that make my old content embarrassing by comparison. At the same time, I feel like I have a lot more to learn. That “Don’t buy the popular 3D printers” video that blew up incorporated 2 cameras, the cleanest audio I’ve ever had, and a ton of time in post, and I can’t help but think that that’s part of the reason for it success, but then so did the videos that followed and they weren’t nearly so successful, what do I know?
I know I need to spend more time on my YouTube channel. I maybe need a better channel trailers. Currently I’m selling my book in the trailer, which is kinda old. Should I write a new book? Should I update the 3D Printing 101 playlist to update it for the new technology? So many options, I’d love to hear your throughs.
