Makers and Minecraft Festival delayed 1 week – September 4th

I guess one of the advantages of an online event is that rescheduling doesn’t mean having to coordinate with the venue.

Due to constraints with work (I swear I had my finger on this date first) and at the request of some people who want some more time to polish their builds, the makers and minecraft festival is being postponed 1 week. This means September 4th I’ll be throwing the doors open and letting everyone in on this.

Many people have asked about the time schedule for the server. With the adjusted time table the plan is this:

  • September 4th – The map is backed up and public is given the IP address and all new users enter in Adventure mode so they can enjoy the fair.
  • September 11th – Everyone is switched to survival mode. Things will either go full Pleasure Island or something amazing will synergize out of it.

Some time after that I will have to choose whether to renew the server or not, and that will depend on the popularity of it.

We’ll see you September 4th for the Makers and Minecraft online Festival!
