This video is, admittedly, left over footage that I cut from the illusion box video I put out a few weeks back. At the time I felt it made the video drag, and interrupted the pace of what was a rather punchy video. But I still thought people might like to know the technique. UV editing and texture wrapping is nothing new to those who have been doing computer animation, which admittedly is what Blender has been made for. But if you’re only doing 3d printing, up until now that wasn’t a necessary skill to learn.
I guess you could say that color adds a whole new dimension.
Okay, but seriously, getting color right on your 3D prints can take some serious time. But with a printer like the Davinci Color, it’s worth it.
I realized as I uploaded this that I don’t have a 2019 tutorials playlist. Because I haven’t made any 2019 tutorials before this. I should really get on that.
