MyMiniFactory is running another contest. Create something with a Christmas or Endangered Animals theme, upload it, and hope you get the most downloads. Grand prize winner gets an Ultimaker. You have until November 20th.
If you’re willing to learn a new modeling program and making something a little more pragmatic download DesignSpark Mechanical and enter the DesignSpark Mechanical challenge. Grand Prize gets an experimental 3D printer and almost $8000 (£5,000), with two runners up getting $4000 (£2500). You have until November 22nd.
